Revenue and Systems Analyst (KTP Associate)

The duties of the post will include:

Technical

• Processing, analysing and labelling disperse/complex data.
• Working with specialist staff at UHS to devise a suitable classification strategy for property types.
• Creating and integrating complex algorithms.
• Working with UHS IT staff to integrate the custom platform into UHS existing IT systems, with the input of UHS IT staff.
• Process, analyse, clean, and label complex and dispersed datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop classification methodologies for luxury property types in collaboration with specialist UHS staff.
• Build and validate advanced supervised and unsupervised machine learning models—including regression, clustering, and time‑series forecasting—for pricing and revenue prediction.
• Design, implement, and integrate a scalable AI‑driven dynamic pricing engine tailored to the luxury holiday rental market.
• Create, test, and integrate complex algorithms and optimisation logic required for the dynamic pricing platform.
• Work with UHS IT staff to integrate the custom pricing platform into existing UHS systems, ensuring usability, robustness, and operational sustainability.

Resource

• Balance commercial deliverables with academic outputs, including contributions to research publications and conference papers where appropriate.
• Embed technical knowledge within UHS through documentation, training, and capacity building.

Project Management

• Developing a swift understanding of UHS, the luxury holiday let market and the relationship between UHS and their property owners.
• Communicating technical concepts to non-technical staff/UHS stakeholders.
• Working on technical processes in a largely non-technical staff base and leadership team.

These duties are a guide to the work that the post holder will initially be required to undertake. They may be changed from time to time to meet changing circumstances.

This role is full-time and fixed term for 24 months. The position is fixed term due to being part of a government funded innovation programme, however there may be potential to continue in employment with the company partner following the completion of the KTP.
