Job description
Modini Ltd in partnership with the University of Bath is looking for a driven PhD graduate with relevant engineering skills who will be able to utilise experimental testing and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to design, develop and manufacture a new family of low-cost, high specification micro gas turbines to power the next generation of uncrewed airborne systems (UAS).
This Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project is an exciting and rare opportunity that will bring together knowledge of aerodynamics and heat transfer to deliver optimised turbomachinery design. This new knowledge will ensure reduced manufacturing and operating costs to enable scalable production for UAS markets and micro-power grids.
