Job description

Qualifications we require:

Hold, or be about to obtain, a Master’s degree in Computing, Computer Vision, Data Science or a related field.

A PhD in Computer Vision or similar is desirable but not essential.

Application requirements:

Expertise in image/video data processing, ML, DL and CV.

Proficiency in Python and standard deep learning libraries.

Hand on software development and deployment.

Knowledge of Version control software, such as GitHub.

Strong documentation, reporting and presentation skills.

Hands-on experience with image-to-text models (CLIP, SigLIP)

Strong background in data science, NLP, and predictive analytics.

Rule-based Generative AI, large datasets and language-based problem-solving.

Awareness of ethical AI and community engagement.

Independent and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Project description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a recent graduate to work full time on a 33-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to develop an AI assistant to creatively assist production and post-production to reduce costs and editing time to ensure the long-term survival of low budget television. In which you will be embedded within the company and become familiar with the company structure, key stakeholders and the processes for recording and processing footage comprehensively.

Employed and supported by an academic team from the University, you will be based at Spark Media Partners’ premises in Richmond Upon Thames, Surrey. During the project you will work with Spark and their partners, Radiant Post Production Group and Ponder Create.
