Job description
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a strategic product development and marketing plan for the automated legionella detection system, targeting key clients and markets.
• Utilise project management skills to coordinate product development efforts, including gathering requirements and overseeing product enhancements.
• Engage with prospective clients to present the system’s features and gather feedback to guide ongoing product development.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the system’s unique benefits.
• Conduct research using industry and academic sources to inform product development and support strategic decisions.
• Analyse reports, market trends, and competitor activities to refine the product’s market positioning and development roadmap.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between client needs and product features.
• Prepare client proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage onboarding for early adopters of the product.
• Contribute to SAS’s sustainability initiatives by promoting the product’s potential to improve water management efficiency.
• Other activities as the project develops that may support the successful delivery of the project.
Project description
This project will directly contribute to the introduction of an innovative product to the water management sector, enhancing SAS Water’s market offerings with cutting-edge automated technology for legionella detection and proactive water management.
Working closely with SAS Water Ltd and leading academics at the University of Staffordshire, the successful candidate will apply their skills in product development, project management, and marketing strategy. They will play a central role in refining the product’s features, coordinating development efforts, and crafting a market introduction strategy to ensure the product meets industry needs and gains traction in target markets.
