About the business

Comfy Quilts Ltd is a family run business, established in 1973 and has grown in that time to be one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of quilts, pillows, mattress covers and bed linen. In fact, it is estimated that one in three people in the UK sleep on a pillow manufactured by Comfy!
Comfy Quilts Ltd specialise in supplying independent and private retailers and are experts in bespoke ranges for national retailers. Comfy Quilts Ltd is proud to licence several of the biggest brands in UK bedding – including Silentnight and Sealy. But have also added some of their own brands to the range – including Nanu, Snug and Sound asleep.
With their own design studio combined with expert technology at their Manufacturing Centre, Comfy is at the forefront of its field, producing the highest quality products for many leading brands – many of which are manufactured in Manchester.
Sustainability is important to the organisation, to the extent that we have published an Environmental Sustainability Policy acknowledging the potential impact our activities have on a local and national scale.
