Job description
Responsibilities
The duties of the post will include:
- Transforming Centerprise’s in-house cybersecurity software using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Evaluating open and closed LLMs for Centerprise’s requirement and selecting the most commercially beneficial one
- Using LLMs for text simplification, text classification and contextual instruction within cybersecurity domain
- Developing of user Interface and API to integrate the chosen LLM with the in-house cybersecurity software.
- Supporting company scale up and exploitation of new technology.
- Acting as project lead, to progress the project and ensure milestones are met to a timely manner.
- Embedding technology, training and upskilling company staff.
- Participating in academic and/or industrial conferences and other events, to disseminate and present research outcomes to the wider community.
These duties are a guide to the work that the post holder will initially be required to undertake. They may be changed from time to time to meet changing circumstances.
Key Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or related fields.
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a similar field, or minimum 1-year relevant industrial experience.
- Strong programming skills.
- Knowledge and expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience in Python and relevant NLP libraries.
- Experience with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience in using Large Language Models in real-world use cases.
- Experience in working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Knowledge about software security (security by design).
- Knowledge about the implementation of basic privacy and authentication techniques in Python.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
