Project description

We’re looking for a motivated and curious horticultural scientist or engineer to take a pivotal role in completing a cutting‑edge Knowledge Transfer Partnership at Nottingham Trent University.

This is a rare chance to work at the intersection of controlled‑environment crop science, sustainability, data modelling and real‑world commercial innovation. You’ll help finalise experimental optimisation of premium roses, complete key digital and environmental models, and shape the procedures that will guide the future of sustainable flower production at scale. You’ll split your time between the commercial partner and NTU’s research environment, working hands‑on with crops, sensors and data workflows to deliver the final technical and translational steps of the project.

If you’re excited by transforming experimental results into operational reality, and want your work to have direct environmental and commercial impact, this role puts you at the heart of an ambitious industry shift.
