Job description
The role as R&D Project Leader (KTP Associate) will be to develop and apply a model-based approach to quantify the functional properties of natural dietary fibre ingredients in bakery products, and to embed this novel approach into Puratos’ new product development systems.
The postholder will report directly to the Research and Development Lead at Puratos and will play a pivotal role in delivering faster and more effective designs of complex bread improver formulations using a broader range of healthy natural fibre ingredients to deliver
superior bread nutrition and quality.

The University of Huddersfield and Puratos are seeking an R&D Project Leader to lead the delivery of a critical, Innovate UK funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership to develop mathematical models that predict effects of dietary fibre ingredients and mixtures on bread
quality.
